Dvukhvostka (fork tail) - a malicious insect that has an oblong, divided into segments of the body and red-brown color. Moves on six legs. The size of the antennae can reach ½ of the body. It rarely uses its small wings.

Another popular name for the insect in question is the earwig. It is due to the fact that he loves to settle a double-tail in the ear of a person, penetrating there at night.
In place of the tail, chitinous formations called churches grow:

• in small specimens (from 2 to 3 cm) they are small, relatively thin;
• in large-sized double-tails, the length of which exceeds 7 cm, tserki differ in strength, hardness, and power.

Favorite habitat and food

For life, two-tails choose a moist, cool environment. They really like pits with humus. Insects are very dexterous, rapidly moving. They go hunting in packs at night.

With the help of claw-shaped growths, the forktail preys on miniature ticks, spiders, larvae of small insects, millipedes. At the same time, he loves fruits, vegetables, even bread crumbs.
